OneChicago and CME have agreed that use and distribution of OneChicago data may be covered by an amendment to the CME Information Distribution Agreement (the Agreement) and the extension of Schedules 1 and 2 of the Agreement to include OneChicago market data.

 

The attached Amendment to the Information Distribution Agreement (the Amendment) contains the changes necessary to allow data vendors that have already executed the Agreement to receive and use OneChicago market data subject to the terms of the Agreement. The changes have no material effect on any other rights and obligations arising from the Agreement. 

 

OneChicago intends to waive Information Distribution License Fees until January 1, 2003 and end-user subscription fees for real-time streaming market data until April 1, 2003. At that time, real-time streaming data will be available for a monthly per user fee (TBD).

A 15-minute delayed streaming data feed is also available at no charge to subscribers.

OneChicago has contracted with the Chicago Board Options Exchange to provide dissemination services for all OneChicago products. In summary, the changes in the Amendment are as follows:

 

1.   The Agreement has been changed so that CME terms and conditions may also apply to Information that is not physically distributed by CME.

 

2.   Schedule 1 has been adapted to ensure that Information includes OneChicago data.

 

3.   Schedule 2 has been adapted to allow Distributors to use and distribute OneChicago data in different ways from other Information, if required.

 

For the right to receive and distribute OneChicago market data under the Agreement, please complete the attached Schedule 2, ensure the Amendment is signed by an authorized officer and return both documents to Jacalyn Geraci, Account Manager, OneChicago at the CME.
